Who Can Participate? – US Applied AI Olympiad
The US Applied AI Olympiad is an exclusive competition designed to inspire and challenge the brightest high school minds in the United States. To ensure fairness and maintain a high standard, the following eligibility criteria must be met:
Eligibility Requirements
- High School Students Only
- Participants must be enrolled in grades 9–12 at the time of registration.
- Middle school or college students are not eligible.
- US-Based Schools
- Participants must attend a high school located in the United States, including public, private, or charter schools.
- Homeschooled students are eligible if their primary residence is in the US.
- USACO Alignment
- Similar to the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) requirements, participants must comply with the following:
- Have a valid US address for verification.
- Be eligible to compete in national or regional competitions hosted in the US.

- Individual Participation
- The competition is strictly for individual participants. No teams are allowed.
- Commitment to Code of Honor
- Participants must agree to submit original work and adhere to the competition’s integrity guidelines.

How to Verify Eligibility?
Participants will be asked to provide:
- School Name and Grade during registration.
- Proof of Enrollment if requested (e.g., student ID or school-issued document).
